Codeflex Inc. Today Releases Flowe Desktop 1.0

Knightdale, N.C. - March 12, 2002 - Codeflex Inc. announced today its 
first release of the flagship product, Flowe Desktop, version 1.0.

The Flowe Desktop is a graphical user interface (GUI) environment for 
the Linux® operating system. As a graphical desktop user environment, 
Flowe Desktop's primary function is to empower the user with fast and 
easy access to personal and system resources. Personal documents such as 
text, photos, music,... and system resources such as the printer and 
CD/DVD drive are made readily and intuitively available to the user. 
Within the Flowe Desktop, operations such as managing storage, starting 
and controlling running applications, and monitoring Internet 
connections are made trivial.

The current freeware desktop environments, like GNOME and KDE, only 
serve the seasoned Linux/Unix professionals and lack the features and 
characteristics that make Linux attractive to the novice users and to 
the growing base of Windows®-Linux transition users in the business and 
home computing markets. From conception, Codeflex's Flowe Desktop is 
designed to make Linux truly simple for the everyday business and home 
users.

When combined with industry-proven open-source productivity suite (like 
Star Office from Sun Microsystem®) and Internet applications (like 
Communicator/Navigator from AOL® Netscape®), Linux running Flowe Desktop 
becomes a full-featured, high-performance, reliable, and very 
inexpensive alternative to Windows in today's businesses and homes.

The Flowe Desktop is available in two editions: Personal and 
Professional. The Personal Edition is immediately available and is free 
for download from Codeflex's web site. Users can register for a free 
Personal Edition license key.

The Professional Edition will be available later in June 2002. A product 
license fee will be announced at that time.
