RED HAT EMBEDDED TECHNOLOGY OPTIMIZED FOR INTEL® IOP321 I/O PROCESSOR BASED ON INTEL® XSCALE Red Hat Provides Complete Open Source Development Suite, Including eCos RTOS, GNUPro Development Tools, and RedBoot Firmware INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--February 26, 2002--Red Hat, Inc. (Nasdaq:RHAT), today announced that it will provide a complete development suite, including tools, firmware and real-time operating system, for the newly unveiled Intel® IOP321 I/O processor based on the Intel® XScale technology. In addition to providing the development suite for the Intel IOP321 I/O processor, Red Hat will continue to work closely with Intel to provide GNUPro Tools for additional Intel XScale technology-based processors.
