Ok, received quite a few requests for information on using ssh on windows. Sorry for the long list of receipients. Here is the list. I have not checked out a single one of them, due to lack of time. I wanted to get the list out as soon as possible. I hoped that each of us might take one from the list, install and try it, and do a review for the rest of us. There are just too many things to do these days than to blow time on windows :) Anyway, if you want to copy me directly, I'll be more than happy to collate all the responses, and put them in a concise document for everyone, including those on the firstname.lastname@example.org list, which is where most of these came from. It behooves you to report back the information you find, as it will benefit yourself as well as other Linux users. I will also check out what I can. There is also some information in these URLs that is not found in the ssh-faq, which really blows chunks. http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/ssh_beyond.html ftp.faqs.org/ssh/contrib/ssh-1.2.14-win32bin.zip http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Bay/1692/ssh-index.html http://public.srce.hr/~cigaly/ssh/ ftp://ftp.net.lut.ac.uk/martin/ssh-win32/ http://guardian.htu.tuwien.ac.at/therapy/ssh/ http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/people/chaffee/winntutil.html http://public.srce.hr/~cigaly/ssh http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Bay/1692/ssh-index.html Start with the win32bin.zip, as I believe that is the most widely used one, and also has source, written by Cygnus, I think. But you see it is quite old... Maybe it was a different one, sorry.
